About Me

My name is Anette Jonischkeit. I am a physiotherapist with more than 30 years experience in the treatment of babies and children. I am passionate about and dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. I offer a wide range of treatment techniques to best suit the needs of my clients and their families by using evidence based practice and combining Australian and overseas treatment techniques.

I graduated as physiotherapist in Germany 1989 and worked there for many years at the University Children's Hospital in Munich and then in a private clinic near Frankfurt. I finished my Vojta therapy training in 1994 and have successfully used Vojta therapy since. During my career I have also participated in many different training opportunities and conferences, keeping up to date with new treatment techniques, research, technology and best practice standards.

In 2003, we moved to Australia where I passed the exams for Overseas Qualified Physiotherapists and was registered with the Australian Board of Physiotherapy. I worked at Nambour General Hospital in paediatric outpatients and special care baby unit. For 11 years I worked part time at the Sunshine Coast Children Therapy Centre, a centre for babies and children with a moderate to severe disability.

I opened my own private clinic in 2006 to deliver the best possible and most intensive physiotherapy service I can, tailored to the needs of every individual child and family.
