About Me

My name is Anette Jonischkeit, I am a physiotherapist specialised in treating babies and children for the past 20 years. I am passionate and dedicated to help children reach their full potentional.

I am 40 years young, married and have 2 children. Three years ago we moved to Australia, where we love the beautiful Sunshine Coast, the friendly people and the nice weather.

I graduated as physiotherapist in Germany 1989 and worked there for many years at the University Children’s Hospital in Munich. After giving birth to my son I continued to work in a private clinic near Frankfurt.

In 2003, we moved to Australia where I passed the exams for Overseas Qualified Physiotherapists and got registered with the Queensland Board of Physiotherapy. I started working at Nambour General Hospital in paediatric outpatient’s and special care baby unit. I also started working at the Sunshine Coast Children Therapy Centre, a centre for babies and children with a moderate to severe disability or those at risk developing one.

I now add up 20 years of experience in paediatric treatment combined with various specialised courses and a great love and passion for the children entrusted to me. I finally opened my own private clinic to be able to deliver the best possible and most intensive physiotherapy service I can, tailored to the needs of every individual child and family.
